Functieomschrijving
The Geotechnical Engineer supports project teams with the review and design of foundations and pile drive ability. The Geotechnical Engineer is a consultant for geotechnical aspects of tenders, studies and projects.
Key responsibilities:
• Tender and project preparations with regard to all foundation related subjects.
• Prepare pile installation, sway and pile drive ability studies.
• Prepare suction pile installation studies.
• Prepare structure on bottom stability and mudmat designs.
• Offshore project support for pile driving/suction and pile monitoring.
• Develop and maintain know-how.
• Prepare technical specifications for foundation subcontractors and review of subcontractor engineering/procedures.

Capability profile / Qualifications:
• Higher Technical College (HTS) / Technical University (TU) level, Civil Engineering specialized in soil mechanics.
• Knowledge of the offshore industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
