CLS Services is a leading professional recruitment agency, specialised in the recruitment of people with a background in chemistry or life sciences. For our client, Astellas Pharma Europe B.V., we are searching for a Senior Technician.
Purpose for this position is to initiate, execute and report drug development and maintenance related research, manufacturing or testing, to develop, maintain and improve the investigational and commercial product portfolio.
You are responsible for the execution, control and report of assigned studies. You plan and execute lab/plant studies and lab/plant facility maintenance in liaise with the Section Head and/or Study Managers. You execute scientific oriented experiments for improving the laboratory expertise.
Act as an (technical) expert in one or more area’s of analysis or technology (like HPLC, dissolution, granulation, coating etc.) and maintain a current awareness of trends in technology developments. Depending on experience you supervise and coach technical staff (technician, amanuensis and trainees) in expert field and contribute to facility/equipment maintenance, cleaning, certification etc..

You have a BSc./MSc. degree in chemistry or life sciences (pharmacy) and additional worked at least 3 years as a Technician in a cGMP industrial lab environment.
You posses good communication skills in Dutch and English. |
