You are responsible for coordination of one or several clinical trails for the immunological evaluation of vaccine candidates. In this role you are the main point of contact and the manager for different parties involved in these projects.

As a Project Scienist you work with all parties involved in the excution of clinical trails for the development of vaccines. This way, you help to ensure that immunological evaluation and clinical development of vaccines is well-managed

- You will manage projects and act as contact point for both internal and external stakeholders
- Internally, you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination of one or several clinical studies, starting from the planning of a clinical protocol to the close-out and reporting immunological assay data to the statistical department for analysis. 
- You translate the needs of the stakeholders into departmental goals and requests resources to address them. Additionally, you provide input in all documentation required to plan and complete clinical studies
- Externally (e.g. for outsourced activities) you ensure the availability and suitability of assays for clinical studies. You monitor timelines, agreements, quality and documentation. You use the expertise of subject matter experts for this

For the Project Scienist vacancy we are looking for a motivated candidate who is skilled in project management, has problem solving abilities and meets the following qualifications:

- PhD in biological/medical sciences or equivalent in immunology or virology
- As project scientist you have proven project management skills, team work, problem solving abilities. We are looking for a manager, and not a detail-oriented SME for this position
- You have a confident attitude in representing the  department to stakeholders outside the department. Moreover, you are able to translate requests from these stakeholders to objectives
- You have high level of credibility when managing different interactions, and will need a level of technical knowledge of immunologial/clinical operations, but for deep-dive technical questions there is a Subject Matter Expert
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Experienced in working under quality standards such as GCLP, GCP or GMP is a plus

- Fulltime position, 40 hours/week, though 4 days per week can be discussed

- Secondment via CheckMark Labrecruitment for 1 year
