We are looking for a sales leader who aids to establish and expand operations in Europe for high-tech solutions (assay, analyzer and software) in clinical diagnostics. You set priorities, acquire clients, co-determine the strategy and therewith help to reach the sales goals. You do so in the (home)office (50%) and at clients (up to 50%).

We are looking for a driven leader who will help and guide to expand operations in Europe for a leading life sciences company. You specialize in entreprise-class clinical genomic analysis products. You define customer needs, develop relationships, ensure optimal sales and negotiate with customers. you will have the following responsibilities:

- You work in an innovative culture and selling to new markets, This role is focused on genomics in the clinical diagnostic industry. The product line includes, but is not restricted to, an integral solution that includes next generation sequencing (NGS) assay, analyzer, algorithm and software
- You will interpret customer needs and use this to craft the appropriate solutions. You apply this knowledge to negotiate win-win deals and follow through on your commitments
- This role calls upon your creativity: along with the costumer, the sales team and technical specialists you define and execute the plan to help the customers by combining software licensing, reagents, instrumentation and services as needed
- Herewith you develop customer relationships and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
- You translate you experience to strategies: you solve problems for your customers and your team and develop best practices
- This way, you drive the development of regional sales targets and delivering together with the team

Profiel

Opleiding HBO
Ervaring Ervaren (3 - 8 jaar)
For this challenging vacancy as Clinical Software Sales Specialist we are looking for a driven go-getter with at bachelor or academic degree who meets the following qualifications:

- At least 5 years software sales experience in life science or IT to healthcare providers, diagnostic labs and/or hospitals. Affinity and understanding of life sciences is a strict requirement 
- This experience enables you with the ability to interface credibly at all technical and management levels within customer organizations, understand complex sales in the genomics market, negotiate deals and makes you capable of selling more than software license
- Sales experience and understandig of genomics is more important than IT knowledge in this role. For second-line software questions you can rely on application specialists in the team
- You have a track record that shows demonstrated success achieving sales targets. This enables you to perform in this senior commercial position: can manage this process instead of being managed only
- A strong network in clinical diagnostics is considered a plus
- Enthusiastic can-do mentality, dedicated team-worker and a clear communicator with great written, verbal and presentation skills.
